Municipal Court
Town of Paonia Municipal Court is held in the Community Room of Town Hall at 214 Grand Avenue in Paonia. The Honorable Judge Julie Huffman presides over Municipal and Model Traffic Code Violations.
Municipal Court Schedule:
Municipal court is held on the first Thursday of each month, excluding holidays, beginning at 3:00 p.m. for Adults and 3:30 p.m. for Juveniles.
Municipal Court Payments:
Citations may be paid online or in person BEFORE the court date listed on the citation if there is a fine amount listed on the citation. By paying the penalty assessment, guilt and liability are acknowledged, and the right to appear in court is waived. Penalty assessments that are paid within the first 20 days may be eligible for a point reduction.
If the citation is a SUMMONS, appearance in court is required at the time, place, and date listed on the citation.
