Short Term Rental Ad Hoc Committee Application

Are you interested in serving on a committee to help the Town of Paonia with the local short-term rentals?

The Town of Paonia is looking for two individuals who would like to serve on an ad hoc committee and bring recommendations regarding Short Term Rentals (STRs) to the Board of Trustees. The committee will be composed of five members, including two board-appointed Trustees (Rick Stelter and Kathy Swartz), a staff member (Town Administrator Stefen Wynn), and two members of the public who have diverse perspectives on STRs.

If interested in serving on this committee, please submit an application by Monday, 8/18/25 at 9 am. The Committee will meet on Tuesday, 8/19/25, from 3:30 -5:30 pm to select the remaining two members of the public. Applicants are welcome to attend the Tuesday meeting and give a two-minute presentation on why they are interested in serving on this committee, but it is not required.
